Royce Gracie, the legendary UFC champion, returned home from a trip to find his flag waiting for him. He expressed his gratitude by saying, "Thank you very much."

A Beautiful Tribute - In Memory of Fayetteville Police Officer Stephen Carr.
Stephen Carr was killed in the Police Department’s parking lot on December 7, 2019. Above is Police Chief Mike Reynolds and Officer Natalie Eucce, Stephen’s partner, holding the wooden flag that was donated by Jay and Lindsay Wilson, owners of Ozark Candy Kitchen in Bella Vista. A second flag was donated to Stephen’s parents.
Stephen's actual badge was carved in detail into the Union area of the flag. What a great tribute and honor for Jeremiah and me to build these special Blue Thin Line Flags.
Lindsay said that they were humbled. They did say it was the most beautiful one they’d seen. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, it was beautiful craftsmanship.

A Special Gift from A Beautiful Flag.

A good Army friend from Thomasville, Georgia, has a son, Lee, who graduated from West Point around twenty years ago. I have followed his career but never met him, but I have talked to him on the phone. This young man has had a stellar career. As an Apache helicopter pilot, he flew over 500 missions in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently, Lee is the Battalion Commander of the 6030 Aviation Support Battalion at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia.
I wanted to donate a wooden flag to him. He chose the Workhorse Battalion emblem carved into the Union area of the flag. It will hang on the wall as you walk into their headquarters building.
Lee leaves in a month or two to assume a teaching assignment at West Point. I believe he has taught there previously, once or twice. He earned his Ph.D. at Georgia Tech.
I am so glad that Jeremiah and I donated this Army flag to Lee.
